Yoga and Meditation Instruction



Registered Yoga Teacher

My goal as a yoga teacher is to create an environment safe for spiritual connection, introspection and inward focus. I believe that the physical practice of yoga can be a therapeutic tool for self-healing. It's called a "practice" because we do just that: practice putting ourselves into intense, sometimes painful postures, and then move to more compassionate ones. I believe that this work enforces our resilience so when we get into uncomfortable situations off the mat, we are better equipped (and practiced) in dealing with stressful experiences with grace, mindfulness and ease.

My yoga classes are highly meditative, self-compassionate, spiritual and alignment focused.

I was trained by Liz Klug at Yoga Sol in Columbia, Missouri. I have my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate through One Yoga and the Yoga Alliance.

I am currently offering a weekly Guided Meditation, Monthly All-Levels Yoga Classes and Quarterly Half-Day Meditation Retreats. You can find a schedule of my current public offerings at Sage Center for Yoga and Healing Arts.
